1 1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup almonds powder (or hazelnuts)
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 pinch of salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
For the fillings: 100 g Nutella - 1 egg
Prepare the dough: In a bowl, pour the flour, sugar, almond powder, egg, vanilla and salt. With your fingers, amalgamate the egg and flour mixture until you get a sandy yellow mix. Then add the butter. Work it until it becomes like a smooth paste. Cover and let stand for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
Oven at 350
Spread dough to a thickness of 1 or 2 mm. Use flour so it wont stick to your counter. Using a cookie cutter, cut out shapes and place them on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Add to the center a dollop of Nutella. Seal them with another cookie. Beat egg with a little water and brush cookies. Bake for 15 minutes at 350. Cookies should be golden brown. Let cool before serving.
